Simply Sweet Games Named Top 6 Finalist at the Northern Angel Summit

Simply Sweet Games is proud to share that we have been selected as one of the Top 6 finalists at the Northern Angel Summit.

This is a significant milestone for our studio and for the company we are building. Over the past several months, the Northern Angel Summit process has challenged us to sharpen every part of our business story, including our market opportunity, product strategy, business model, traction, risks, and long-term vision.

More Than Just a Pitch

This process has been about much more than preparing for a pitch. It has been an opportunity to clearly articulate why our business matters, why now is the right time, why our team is uniquely positioned to build it, and what comes next as we grow.

As part of the summit process, our co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Carina Kom, travelled to Prince George to represent our team, meet with angels in person, and participate in a full day of due diligence training. That work does not always happen on stage, but it is an important part of building investor trust and turning a pitch into a meaningful business conversation.

Reaching the Top 6 is also a reminder that startups are not built alone.

We are deeply grateful to our team, advisors, mentors, champions, early supporters, playtesters, and investor community who have helped us reach this point. Every thoughtful question, hard piece of feedback, introduction, late-night review, playtest, and moment of encouragement has helped shape Simply Sweet Games and strengthen the company we are building.
