With over 17 years of experience in the global games industry, Carina has produced and contributed to numerous titles, including Battlefield 2042, Halo: Infinite, and several indie games.
At Simply Sweet Games, she is focused on creating joyful, emotionally resonant games for audiences often overlooked in mainstream media, including women, families, and ESL players. Her mission is to raise the standards of the video game industry, a world often dominated by a singular perspective, and ripe with opportunity for more variety and non-traditional offerings.
Beyond business, Carina is a passionate community builder. For over a decade, she has supported over 800 emerging developers through mentorship, advocacy, and events via organizations like Diversity in Games (where she served for 12 years), Women in Games International, and DigiBC.
Her leadership continues to break down systemic barriers for BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, and neurodivergent creators, making B.C.’s creative tech industry more accessible and equitable.
